About This Project

LONDON 2012 OLYMPICS

Working on the London 2012 Olympic Visualisations with ARUP was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that allowed me to work with cutting-edge technology and develop my skills in 3D visualisation, 3D animation, architectural visualisation, real-time animation, and 3D printing.

As a member of the visualisation team, I contributed to creating planning visualisations for the infrastructure of the Queen Elizabeth II Park and The Arcellor Mittal Orbit. The project required a high degree of accuracy, and we had to ensure that the designs were in line with the client’s expectations. We incorporated the latest technology and techniques, including real-time engines, to create realistic representations of the infrastructure.

The experience working with a diverse team of highly skilled professionals allowed me to gain practical experience and expand my skill set in 3D visualisation, 3D animation, and architectural visualisation. Additionally, exposure to real-time animation and 3D printing provided me with valuable insights into the latest advancements in the field.

Undoubtedly, the project had its challenges, but our team worked tirelessly to overcome them. Our dedication to excellence and teamwork led to the outstanding results that exceeded our client’s expectations.

In conclusion, working on the London 2012 Olympic Visualisations with ARUP was an exceptional opportunity that allowed me to develop my skills in 3D visualisation, 3D animation, architectural visualisation, real-time animation, and 3D printing. The experience was invaluable, and I am proud to have been part of a team that showcased the best of the industry’s capabilities. I look forward to more opportunities that challenge me and provide a platform for growth in the field of 3D visualisation, 3D animation, architectural visualisation, real-time animation, and 3D printing.

I’m very proud to have had a hand in these historic games in London.
