The 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham showcased numerous fan activations designed to engage and inform visitors. As an expert in 3D design, 3D visualisation, event design, and marketing activation design, my client and I had the privilege of creating some of these fan experiences.
Our goal was to design visually stunning and engaging experiences that would not only inform fans about the sport but also immerse them in the world of sport, making them feel like a part of it. To achieve this, we created a detailed 3D model of the venue that served as the foundation for our fan experiences. This allowed us to develop interactive displays that featured information about the athletes, the history of the sport, and the rules of the game, which were placed throughout the venue. Fans could interact with these displays and learn about the sport in a fun and engaging way.
These games were designed to be both fun and educational, appealing to fans of all ages. The games were set up at each venue to create an immersive experience for the fans.
Overall, our work as 3D designers and visualisers for the Commonwealth Games was an incredible experience. We had the honour of being part of something that brought together so many people, creating fan experiences that will be remembered for years to come. The passion and energy of the fans were the heart of the games, and we were privileged to help bring them closer to the action through our expert 3D design, 3D visualisation, event design, and marketing activation design.
