  • Bose, a leader in the audio industry for many years, recognized the need to diversify its product offerings and explore new avenues for growth due to the crowded and competitive market for audio devices. In 2018, Bose launched their "Frames" brand, a unique combination of sunglasses and headphones that allows users to listen to music and take calls while enjoying the sun. To promote this product launch, Bose created a 3D visualisation roadshow design that allowed consumers to experience the product first-hand and showcase its features and benefits. As a 3D designer, my role was to create a compelling and engaging booth design that would attract visitors and provide a memorable experience. The touring kit comprised a roadshow using an airstream trailer and SUVs that were set up in high-traffic locations around the country. We prominently displayed the Frames sunglasses, along with product information and promotional materials, and designed each touring kit to attract attention but in an understated and classy way synonymous with Bose. One of the main challenges we faced was designing the booth to accommodate the various models and sizes of Frames sunglasses. Therefore, we ensured that the display was both aesthetically pleasing and functional, allowing visitors to try on the sunglasses and experience the sound quality without any interference. To achieve this, we utilized a combination of custom display stands, mirrors, and interactive screens that showcased the product's features and benefits. Furthermore, we incorporated Bose's signature black and silver color scheme to create a sleek and sophisticated look that would resonate with the brand's target audience. Throughout the tour, consumers had the opportunity to try on the Frames sunglasses, listen to music, and engage with Bose representatives to learn more about the product. This successful 3d design roadshow generated buzz and excitement around the Frames brand and helped Bose establish a foothold in the emerging market of wearable audio devices.
