As a 3D designer, I had the privilege of contributing to the changing landscape of banking services. With the banking industry witnessing a significant shift over the past few years, there has been an increase in customers opting for online banking services, resulting in the closure of several bank branches. To cater to the evolving needs of customers, I was tasked with designing mobile banking pods that could facilitate private video call consultations between customers and banking specialists, providing a personalized banking experience.

 

To begin with, I focused on creating conceptual designs that catered to various scales, ensuring maximum flexibility in usage. Our design philosophy was guided by the principles of customer-centricity and accessibility, which influenced us throughout the design process. We aimed to create highly functional pods that were visually appealing and provided an intuitive interface for customers to interact with.

 

During the design process, we faced several challenges, including ensuring that the pods were adaptable to various environments. To address this, we employed various design techniques. For instance, we used modular design and the use of lightweight materials to create pods that were easy to install and maintain. Moreover, we paid close attention to the user interface, ensuring that it was simple, intuitive, and user-friendly.

 

As a 3D designer, I take great pride in creating solutions that cater to the needs of consumers directly. Designing these mobile banking pods was an exciting and fulfilling process, and I believe that designers have numerous opportunities to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the banking industry. By utilizing 3D design and 3D visualization techniques, we were able to create innovative solutions that catered to the changing needs of customers. In the future, I hope to continue working on similar retail design projects that enable me to use my design skills to create meaningful solutions for people.
