About This Project

Facebook

The tech industry has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, with women making their mark in what was once a male-dominated field. In recognition of the contributions of these women, Facebook hosted an internal conference and expo to celebrate their achievements. As a 3D designer, I was tasked with creating the event brand world, which included designing the look and feel of the conference plenary stage, as well as the breakout areas and informal discussions for brainstorming and an expo.

My primary objective as a 3D designer for the conference plenary stage was to create a visually appealing and functional space that could accommodate a range of speakers and panelists while also inspiring and engaging attendees. Working closely with the event organizers, I was able to understand their vision for the conference and the messages they wanted to convey, which guided my 3D design decisions. By leveraging my 3D design skills and expertise, I was able to create a space that was not only visually stunning but also functional and conducive to effective communication.

In addition to 3D designing the plenary stage, I also created the breakout areas and informal discussion spaces in the hotel. The primary goal was to create an atmosphere that would foster collaboration and encourage attendees to share their insights and ideas. To achieve this goal, I incorporated comfortable seating and warm lighting to create a comfortable and inviting environment. The areas were also equipped with the latest 3D technology to support the needs of the attendees, which facilitated effective communication and collaboration.

The conference and expo were held at the Clayton Hotel Dublin, which provided an ideal backdrop for the event with its spacious and modern facilities. The hotel’s accommodations ensured that the large number of attendees had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Attendees were able to immerse themselves in the 3D designed environment and connect with other like-minded individuals, which is crucial for promoting diversity and inclusion within the tech industry.

Overall, the event was a resounding success, with attendees sharing their ideas and insights and engaging in fruitful discussions. By 3D designing a visually appealing and functional space, I helped facilitate collaboration and inspire attendees to share their ideas and insights. Events like this are critical in promoting diversity and inclusion within the tech industry, as they provide opportunities for women to network, exchange ideas, and collaborate. This ultimately leads to increased diversity and inclusion within the field, which is beneficial for all stakeholders.

In conclusion, I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such an important event as a 3D designer. The conference served as a platform to recognize and celebrate the contributions of women in tech. I hope that events like this will inspire and motivate more women to pursue careers in tech and continue to break barriers in this ever-evolving field. As a 3D designer, I am committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within the tech industry through my 3D design work and decisions.
