BOOKING TERMS

(Effective 1 January 2026)

RATES

  • Standard day (9:00–17:30): £475
  • Half day (up to 4 hours): £300

Bookings are made in full-day or half-day units.
Hourly or pro-rated work is not offered unless explicitly agreed in writing in advance.

Ad-hoc, urgent, or out-of-hours requests fall outside the standard booking model and are subject to separate agreement, availability, and pricing.

BOOKING MODEL

  • A full day is up to 8 hours worked within standard hours.
  • A half day is up to 4 hours worked within standard hours.
  • Time is reserved exclusively for the client for the booked unit.

Billing is based on the booked unit, not the elapsed task duration.

Multi-day bookings reserve a continuous block of availability and may not be reduced once confirmed.

Booked time is not tied to a specific task or deliverable and may be applied to other agreed work, provided it falls within the booked time and skill set. Where plans change, clients may reallocate work within the confirmed booking to avoid late cancellation charges.

AVAILABILITY & WORKING HOURS

  • Standard availability is Monday–Thursday, 9:00–17:30.
  • Work requested outside these hours (evenings, Fridays, weekends, or urgent turnaround) is not standard and requires prior agreement on availability and rates.

SCOPE & ADDITIONAL WORK

  • Bookings may be confirmed with or without sight of the final brief.
  • Work is delivered within the limits of the booked time.
  • If additional work, views, configurations, or revisions exceed what can reasonably be completed within the booking, this will be flagged and agreed before proceeding.
  • Amendments are covered where they fall within the booked time.

PENCIL BOOKINGS

  • Pencil bookings hold provisional availability only.
  • Pencilled time must be confirmed no later than 3 working days before the start date.
  • Confirmed bookings take priority over pencilled time.

RESCHEDULING

Requests to move confirmed bookings (for example, shifting dates or pushing work to a later week) are treated as rescheduling, not cancellation, and are subject to availability.

Rescheduling applies to the booking as a whole. Partial rescheduling that reduces the length of a confirmed multi-day booking is treated as a cancellation of the affected time.

Where a requested shift cannot be accommodated in full, an alternative contiguous block may be offered by agreement. If no suitable alternative is available, the original booking remains in place or may be cancelled under the cancellation terms.

WORKING FILES

  • Working files are supplied upon request at the conclusion of the booked work, in the state used to generate the agreed outputs.
  • Working files are supplied once all fees due for the booking have been paid.
  • Any third-party, licensed, or pre-existing assets may be excluded or replaced as required.
  • Any additional file preparation, export, conversion, or troubleshooting requested outside the confirmed booking period is treated as additional work and charged at a minimum of a half day, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

CANCELLATIONS

The following applies to confirmed bookings only.

Multi-day bookings are treated as a single continuous block of exclusive reserved availability. A minimum notice period of 3 working days applies.

Where a confirmed booking is cancelled, or a reserved block of time is released, with less than 3 working days’ notice, cancellation charges apply as follows:

  • 2 working days’ notice: 1 booked day charged

  • 1 working day’s notice: 2 booked days charged

  • Same-day cancellation or release of a confirmed booking after work has commenced: 3 booked days charged

Cancellation charges are capped at a maximum of 3 booked days, regardless of the total length of the booking.

Cancellation charges will not exceed the total value of the confirmed booking

Cancellation charges reflect the late release of reserved availability and are not related to performance, quality, or creative suitability.

For the purposes of these Cancellation Terms, “working days” means Monday to Friday, counted during standard working hours (9:00–17:30), excluding UK public holidays.

BILLING

Timesheets may be provided if required for internal processes but do not affect billing. Invoices are issued per booking and payable in line with agreed payment terms.

ACCEPTANCE

Proceeding with a booking constitutes acceptance of these Booking Terms.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due within 30 days from the date of invoicing. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest and compensation in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

LIABILITY LIMITATION

In case of any damages or losses incurred by the client as a result of my services, my liability will be limited to the total fee paid by the client for the specific project or engagement. This clause does not apply to damages or losses caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence on my part.

CLIENT TERMS

Any client terms, supplier terms, or contractual documents must be provided no later than 3 working days prior to the booking commencing.

Any terms received after work has commenced will not apply unless expressly agreed in writing in advance.
